My old website suffered a major crash, so the Star Wars page is about two years out of date. I'll update it and the makeup page as time allows. 12-14-00--Over the course of the next few weeks, I am going to begin "accurizing" and cleaning up the website. What I mean by this is, is that I am going to fact-check all quotes and scenes mentioned in these debates, and post the accurate information under the original arguement in white.
In so doing, I want to preserve the arguments in their original form, as they appeared on the newsgroups. While building this website, I have in the past merged three or more individual posts into one. Many of the same arguments have different points to consider, so an amalgamation of similar thoughts seemed the best way to go.
When I update the Database, I will add an "Updated Arguments" title above the new content, along with the last update date, so readers can distinguish new info from all the other info here.

4/12/99--Made a few changes to the "Starship Weaponry" section. Fixed the BoP in "Generations" mistake (disruptor fire instead of torps, thanks to David Poole for pointing that out!) And I also added two pictures of the Defiant MISSING a target even while locked on to it, contrary to Trek arguements which state Federation ships NEVER miss.

"It's going to be a few years before we revisit the Enterprise," Jonathan Frakes (Riker) tells The New York Daily News. "Patrick Stewart (Picard) doesn't want to do one for about three years, and the studio wisely believes we should let the Star Wars films come and go before we get back on the ship. We want to stay out of their way. But you know we will be back."

3/14/99--I've postponed the "Handweapons" section for now, and will concentrate on another new section "Planet Busting Weaponry." While I work on this, I've put back the Power, Sensors, and Shields section. These haven't been updated yet, just the images have been thumbnailed. I'll put up a couple more old sections later.
3/7/99--The Ultimate Starwars vs. Startrek Database has went through major changes. Major refining of the Starship Weaponry section. Due to many reader complaints of slow load-time, I've converted many of the inline pics to thumbnails. Should load a LOT faster now! Very special thanks to Ethan Platten, Curtis Saxton, and Mike Wong. Also refined comments in the asteroids section thanks once again to Mike Wong! Added this new Update link! 2/28/99--The page is back! I've completely revamped the "Starship Weaponry" section now, with new pics, easieer navigation, and its 4 times as big as it was!!
